The all-new Transit Custom comes fitted with a suite of driver assistance technologies designed to help you and your workforce while on the road.
Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intersection Assist⁴,¹¹
Transit Custom can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian in front of you and also while turning at intersections. If you don’t take corrective action, the brakes will apply automatically.
Lane Keeping Aid with Lane Departure Warning⁴
Transit Custom can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the road or to detect if you're unintentionally drifting out of lane.
Blind Spot Monitoring System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert⁴
This feature helps you change lanes by alerting you when a vehicle enters the blind spot zone. Cross-Traffic Alert warns of traffic approaching from the sides when the vehicle is in reverse.
Adaptive Cruise Control⁴,¹²
Just set your cruising speed and let the Transit Custom’s radar monitor the traffic ahead and slow down or speed up accordingly.
Rear View Camera⁴
The rear view camera activates automatically once you switch into reverse. The 180-degree split view acts like an extra pair of eyes. The camera can reveal objects you might have missed and helps you navigate tight parking spaces.
Reverse Brake Assist⁴,¹³
Transit Custom can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and, if you don't react in time, brake for you.

2. Maximum payload for Trend Short Wheelbase Van. Subject to State and Territory regulations. Payload is defined as the Gross Vehicle Mass minus the kerb weight. Payload is the maximum combined value of occupants, cargo, added options, added structures and tow ball download (when towing). GVM must not be exceeded.
3. Maximum load volume for Trend Long Wheelbase Van. Maximum load volume method simply measures the volume of a fine-grained material such as sand or rice which can be deposited into the loadspace. Load Area Protection Kit may impact cargo area dimensions and capacities.
4. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions. See Owner’s Manual for more information.
5.Maximum towing capacity braked using an appropriate aftermarket towbar and trailer brake controller. Subject to State and Territory regulations. To comply with these limits, occupants and / or luggage may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits. Connected Built-In Satellite Navigation is a Connected Service where eligible vehicles receive 1 year of service from the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty start date, after which time the service may cease to be available or may be subject to a subscription fee. Users must have created a FordPass App account (terms apply), have fully activated the vehicle's FordPass Connect modem and have SYNC Location set to 'on' to use this feature.
11. Pre-collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision.
